Sheri Dinardi lives in Jacksonville, OR, a quaint 1800’s gold rush town surrounded by farms and distant mountains, a source of inspiration for her paintings, which convey a sense of timelessness. Sheri paints the female figure in landscape settings and intimate portraits. Following the rhythm of the seasons, she captures the fleeting effect of light as it changes throughout the day. “Painting for me is an expression of life… I am especially moved by light, whether it is the rising sun or light spilling across the form of a person. As a painter of people, I enjoy the unique privilege of standing before a beautiful living human being.” Sheri has exhibited in many prestigious shows including the Oil Painters of America’s Salon Show, Western Regional Show and National Show.
