Garth Williams
Garth Williams is from Burley, ID. Born in the big sky country of Helena, MT, he grew up acquiring a love of the outdoors. Garth has fond memories of growing up, including fishing with his father in the fall, when the autumn colors were spectacular. Each time he paints fall aspens special memories come to his mind. His inspiration to become a professional artist was his grandfather, who was an oil painter. Garth studied impressionistic art under the constant supervision of his friend Robert Moore, a wonderful artist whose work Garth loved and admired. “Developing my own concept of realism is the most important step in creating a painting that allows the viewer to determine what shapes are actually woven together to determine what image actually appears. I never lost my desire to be an impressionistic oil painter.” Learn more at www.garthwilliamsfineart.com
