The 2017 Art Show & Sale Artists:
--- Ria Krishman has a degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering. In 2009 she changed careers, from software engineer to full time professional Artist. She has never looked back, saying it was the best decision of her life. Her flair for painting began as a child in India where she spent her youth. With few formal lessons, Mother Nature is Ria’s inspiration. Plein air painting allows her to capture color and light not afforded by a studio. She uses her camera for reference in large studio pieces. Always experimenting with different mediums, Ria prefers to work with oils. Ria is an Associate member of the Oil Painters of America and the California Art Club. In 2015 Southwest Art Magazine identified her as one of the 21 young artists in the country to collect. Ria lives with her husband and works from her home studio in Campbell, CA. Learn more at www.riakrishnan.com
