The 2017 Art Show & Sale Artists:
--- Jerry Crandall was born in Colorado near the Santa Fe Trail. Today he lives in Montana. As a historian and professional artist for over 50 years, his paintings are rich expressions of history, celebrating the uncommon union between historical authenticity and fine art. Jerry is also a collector of artifacts, period photos, clothing, and more—used as research material for his paintings. Because of his expertise on the American West, Jerry served as Historical Consultant for segments of the television series “Centennial,” as well as Charlton Heston’s “The Mountain Men.” He appeared in the movie “Tombstone” as a cowboy, and served as actor/consultant for shows on A&E, Discovery, and The History Channel. His work has been featured in numerous publications including Southwest Art and Cowboys & Indians. His award-winning art can be found in many private and public collections.
